JAIN International Residential School Introduces a Unique Concept of Weekly Boarding Facility for Students

Sharing is caring!

Bengaluru 31st January 2024: JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), awarded the No.1 residential school in India by Times Group and Education Today has introduced a unique concept of a “Weekly Boarding” facility for students from Bengaluru and surroundings.

This distinctive approach accommodates students who aspire to spend their weekdays in a boarding environment, fostering connections with peers, and their weekends in the comfort of their homes, nurturing relationships with their families. This is especially beneficial for parents, particularly those working in the IT sector, who prefer boarding facilities during weekdays while desiring their children’s presence at home over the weekends. The weekly boarding option is purely optional, allowing students to return home on Fridays after school hours and report back to campus on Sunday evening.

For the convenience of weekly boarders, school transport is available on Friday evenings from school and Sunday evenings at designated pickup points defined by the school. However, own transportation needs to be arranged in case a student stays back on Saturday for any tournament/ activities.

JIRS is committed to providing holistic growth. Recognizing that attending a residential school is a significant decision, the weekly boarding initiative aims to balance the transition and maintain a standard of education that meets global benchmarks. The hybrid model contributes to students’ overall and personality development, making them resilient individuals.

JIRS is renowned for its international standards, with students from various parts of India and other countries. The school blends Indian culture and values with international academic exposure in a homely Gurukul environment on its expansive, green, pollution-free campus.

A standout feature of the JIRS campus is its world-class infrastructure for sports. Boasting over 30 playing areas for both indoor and outdoor games, the school provides qualified professional coaches to train students for national and international competitions, emphasising the significant role of sports in the curriculum. The complete boarding school experience at JIRS fosters independence, boldness, mental and emotional strength, interpersonal relationship skills, and an appreciation for diversity among students.

With a legacy of over 24 years, the school currently accommodates more than 600 students and over 200 staff. Offering co-educational schooling from Grades 5 to 12 and three internationally recognised curricula (IBDP, CBSE & Cambridge International), JIRS not only contributes to the growth and development of students but also shapes them into icons of tomorrow.
