Renowned Bharatanatyam Artist Apeksha Niranjan presented a special opening Bharatanatyam performance at a prestigious evening hosted at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai on 20th May.
The event marked the official launch of producer Anjali Bhushan’s new production house along with the unveiling of its first film in collaboration with celebrated music duo. The President of Cyprus attended the evening as the Chief Guest.
Opening the celebrations with an elegant Bharatanatyam recital, Apeksha Niranjan brought the richness of Indian classical dance to an evening that celebrated cinema, culture, music and international collaboration. Known for her graceful stage presence and expressive storytelling, Apeksha’s performance beautifully set the tone for the evening.
Speaking about the occasion, Apeksha Niranjan said, “It was truly an honour to open such a special evening at the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai. Bharatanatyam has always been deeply personal to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to present our classical art form at an event celebrating cinema, creativity and cultural exchange on an international platform.”
She further added, “Every performance carries emotion and storytelling, and I hoped to create a beautiful beginning to the evening through my recital.”
