July 29: Abhay Verma Believes It’s His Mother’s Hardwork that’s Been Paying Off Till Now: My brother and I believe that humari mehnat ka phal toh humein milna shuru bhi nahi hua hai
It’s often the push from your loved ones that helps you pursue your dreams. And for Abhay Verma, it’s his mother, whom he describes as the “most courageous one.” As Verma gears up for the release of Netflix’s Operation Safed Sagar, the actor credits his mother for having the courage to stand against all odds and support him in pursuing his dreams.
“My mother is the most courageous one,” he says proudly. “Unhone courage dikhaya to fight with all of my family members so that me and my elder brother could follow our dreams. I am very proud ki mai apni Maa ka beta hu,” he continues.”
Looking back at one of the hardest phases of his life, he says,
“My father passed away when I was very young; it’s been 14 years now. My mother is a heart patient; and not being too emotional about it, but the courage that she has shown… My brother and I both believe that humari mehnat ka phal toh humein milna shuru bhi nahi hua hai; unki hi mehnat ka chal raha hai. If I’m sitting here today, it’s because of her hardwork and sacrifices.”
With Operation Safed Sagar set to premiere on Netflix, Verma continues to fulfil his dream of becoming one of the most dependable young actors of his generation. The upcoming series will see him sharing screen space with Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Dia Mirza, and others. It begins streaming on the OTT giant from August 7.
