Bangalore, 16th March 2024: Orchids The International School, one of the leading international K12 chains of schools is proud to announce that Kiran Pawar, Pan-India Head for Taekwondo at Orchids The International School has earned a professional Level-1 license, conferred upon him by the World Taekwondo Certification Course – a distinction held only by 20 other Taekwondo coaches from India.
Coach Pawar is a professional Taekwondo expert from Bangalore, Karnataka, practicing the Korean martial art for the past 22 years. He has won the Gold 8 times at the National Taekwondo Championship and the State Gold 17 times. He is also the coach of the Karnataka National Taekwondo Team for Cadet, Juniors and Senior Age categories since 2019.
After being nominated by Karnataka Taekwondo and India Taekwondo for this license and certification, Pawar, a Yoodanja (one who holds a black belt rank in Taekwondo), participated in a seminar held by World Taekwondo and wrote the exam for the official license. The holder of this license has the authority to act as a National Team Coach and is entitled to open Coaching Training centers in all the member countries of Taekwondo Union.
