India, July 13: Fresh off the spectacular success of the 17th edition of WOW Awards Asia which was inaugurated by Union Minister of Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, industry veteran Deepak Choudhary has announced a historic disruption in India’s multi-billion-dollar live entertainment landscape. Aside from executing marquee live events and IPs, Choudhary is anchoring a monumental academic milestone with the official launch of the Bhavan’s College MSEED campus on August 1st, 2026.
In a historic first for the country, the institution will offer formal Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Event Management, fully accredited and awarded by the prestigious University of Mumbai. The upcoming grand launch on August 1st will be graced by a senior Government Minister, signaling formal state recognition of a structured talent pipeline designed to turn raw experiential passion into an institutionalized powerhouse.
Recognized across the subcontinent as the ‘IP Man of India’, Deepak Choudhary has spent over two decades consistently staying ahead of market trends by establishing industry-defining platforms like EVENTFAQS Media, DoReMi and Event Capital. With MSEED, Choudhary is delivering his most disruptive masterstroke yet by dismantling the traditional, unorganized textbook approach that has historically limited the sector.
Operating out of a massive green campus in Andheri, Mumbai, the newly accredited three-year Bachelor’s Degree and two-year Master’s Degree programs move event education directly into the real-world arena through interactive simulations, immersive workshops, and lakeside classes. The curriculum features highly specialized business tracks including global business events, mice, concerts and live events, wedding planning and design, and tourism and cultural events, setting a definitive baseline for workforce readiness across the global touring economy.
Further compounding this industry shake-up, Choudhary has aligned the institution with his live entertainment company, EVA Live, to announce the highly anticipated EVA Calendar. This unmatched roster of upcoming commercial live entertainment intellectual properties will double as an active, high-stakes training ground for MSEED students. Moving far beyond the constraints of standard internships, students will be embedded directly backstage and into technical production roles for an elite lineup of upcoming mega-productions. The newly unveiled calendar features a highly collaborative creative show with Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts, alongside A.R. Rahman’s massive Wonderment Tour and the Bollywood Music Project, alongside various international stadium tours and high-profile corporate expositions.
Deepak Choudhary stated that when his generation entered the event industry decades ago, there was no university-validated pathway, leaving raw passion, blood, sweat, tears, and trial-by-fire learning as the only options. He noted that with the formal backing of Mumbai University and the launch of MSEED, the sector is experiencing an essential educational revolution that equips the next generation with a world-class degree tethered to a heavy portfolio of actual mega-events. He concluded that by combining institutional credibility with unprecedented access to the country’s largest live IPs, MSEED graduates will not need to wait to enter the marketplace, as they will already be leading its commercial execution.

Applications for both the Bachelor’s and Master’s streams are currently active for eligible candidates, and corporate stakeholders looking to collaborate with the Live Events Development Cell are invited to connect directly with the MSEED campus administrative office.
Reinforcing his long-term commitment to strengthening India’s live entertainment ecosystem, Deepak Choudhary has also played a key role in driving the establishment of the Live Events Development Cell , launched by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting in July 2025 to accelerate the country’s emerging concert economy. Conceived as a single-window facilitation mechanism, the LEDC is focused on streamlining regulatory processes and building a standardized ecosystem for large-scale concerts, festivals, and cultural events.
Together, initiatives such as MSEED, EVA Live, and the LEDC reflect Choudhary‘s broader vision of not only creating world-class live experiences but also developing the talent, infrastructure, and policy framework needed to position India as a global hub for the live entertainment industry.
