27th July 2023 – Amazon’s free video streaming service has released their latest young adult drama – Half CA. As everyone waited with bated breath for the launch of the binge-worthy series, Amazon miniTV hosted an exclusive screening of the show at Mithibai College, Mumbai. The evening was graced by the lead cast Ahsaas Channa, Gyanendra Tripathy and Prit Kamani as they were accompanied by their closest friends from the industry for fun-filled evening. To name a few – renowned actresses Kubbra Sait and Aditi Bhatia arrived in style. While Kubbra donned a perfect monsoon look with a matching umbrella, Aditi Bhatia donned a baggy cargo denim and a gray crop top. Popular actor Darsheel Safary chose to go with a pair of checkered trousers teamed up with a plain black T-shirt. The GenZ heartthrob Ayush Mehra was also spotted in a cool blue look. While the screening was a starry affair altogether, our lead actors surely made a statement with their looks. Ahsaas Channa who essays the role of Archi in the series arrived with a flowery dewy look, she was seen in a flowy printed skirt paired with a ruffle top. Gyanendra Tripathi on the other hand gave us some serious fashion goals with his all-white attire.
Half CA is a story that emphasises on the journey and struggles of a CA aspirant. After finishing her 12th grade, Archi Jain decided to pursue a career in accounting, but she now realises how difficult the exam is and feels lost and bewildered. Meanwhile, her cousin Niraj Goyal is already a CA aspirant who has failed the CA final twice and is known as a “Half CA,” that is, a CA aspirant who technically possesses all the knowledge necessary to become a CA but hasn’t yet achieved that status. In Mumbai, the nation’s financial centre, each of them set out on their respective paths to accomplish the same goal while overcoming the obstacles in their way.
