Cipla Health supports 85000 plus devotees at Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 through wellness-focused initiatives

India, 23rd July: Cipla Health Limited is participating in the Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 through dedicated on-ground initiatives led by their flagship brands— Omnigel and Prolyte ORS, aimed at supporting devotees through pain relief and hydration solutions during the nine-day celebration. The initiatives aim to touch lives of over 85,000+ devotees during the festivities, reflecting the company’s commitment to making relevant wellness solutions accessible in moments of large-scale community participation.

The Jagannath Rath Yatra is among India’s most revered religious gatherings, drawing millions of devotees from across the country every year. As participants come together in a shared expression of faith and devotion, the event also presents unique wellness needs that emerge from extended travel, outdoor participation and physical exertion. Recognising this, Cipla Health‘s presence at the Yatra is focused on addressing wellness needs during the course of the pilgrimage, helping devotees undertake the journey with comfort and ease.

As part of the initiative, Prolyte ORS has established a dedicated hydration stall that will remain active throughout the celebrations. Through the activation, the brand distributed over 70,000 Prolyte ORS units, helping devotees stay hydrated during the course of the festivities. This initiative reflects Prolyte ORS’s continued commitment to making hydration support more accessible, particularly during periods of increased outdoor activity and travel, when consumers may be more susceptible to tiredness and dehydration and have heightened hydration needs.

Complementing this effort, Omnigel has established a dedicated Seva Stall to support devotees who may experience everyday muscle soreness, body aches and physical fatigue during the yatra. Guided by its longstanding philosophy, ‘Aapki Bhakti Ko Dard Ki Nazar Na Lage’, the initiative reflects Omnigel’s continued commitment to supporting devotees undertaking physically demanding spiritual journeys. The activation builds on the brand’s presence across some of India’s largest pilgrimage gatherings, including the Kumbh Mela, Kanwar Yatra and previous editions of the Rath Yatra.

Reflecting on the role of wellness in large community gatherings, Mr. Shivam Puri, CEO, One India Business, Cipla said, “India’s faith-led gatherings are among the world’s largest expressions of collective participation, bringing together millions of people in shared moments of devotion and community. Among them, Rath Yatra stands out as one of the country’s most iconic pilgrimages, reflecting the spirit of faith, resilience and togetherness. At Cipla Health, we recognise that every pilgrimage is both a physical and spiritual journey. For years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to supporting devotees throughout this sacred journey by addressing their everyday wellness needs.  Building on this, we are once again extending support through solutions that promote hydration and physical well-being enabling devotees to undertake their journey with comfort, resilience and an unwavering focus its spiritual significance”

As millions of devotees gather for the celebrations, Cipla Health‘s participation reflects a simple belief that wellness support can play a meaningful role in enabling people to fully immerse themselves in experiences that matter to them. Through Omnigel and Prolyte ORS, the company seeks to contribute in a small but meaningful way to an occasion that holds significance for millions across the country.
