Justdial Reports Nationwide Surge in LPG Searches; Delhi Spikes 6x

Mumbai,  Mar 13: Local search engine 1 has reported a sharp rise in online searches for LPG and allied services across India, reflecting increased demand for timely information on household energy needs. The trend analysis compared search volumes between 28 February–5 March 2026 and 6–11 March 2026, revealing a notable spike across key urban centers.

At a national level, searches for LPG and related services increased 3.5 times during the period under review, highlighting the growing reliance on digital platforms for accessing essential services.

Among India’s major cities, Delhi recorded the highest spike, with search activity rising approximately sixfold compared to the previous period. Mumbai followed with a fourfold increase, while Bengaluru and Chennai also saw significant growth, nearly tripling in search volume.

“This surge underscores how consumers are increasingly turning to digital local search tools to access critical information on LPG availability, distribution, and allied services,” said a spokesperson from 1. “Timely access to these services is vital for households, and the data reflects the growing role of online search in supporting everyday life.”
