Uptown by Advant Records Nearly 45percent Jump in Footfall During New Year Period

Noida, India Jan 27: Uptown by Advant recorded a sharp surge in consumer activity during the New Year, with customer footfall rising by nearly 45%, as shoppers and diners visited the high-street destination over the festive period. The increase was supported by higher holiday spending and sustained dining demand across the centre.

The festive season saw Uptown by Advant draw steady visitor traffic across retail and food outlets in Noida. Festive décor, on-ground activities, and a mix of retail and dining options encouraged repeat visits, leading to higher walk-ins and better sales across several categories.Earlier known primarily as a food-led destination, Uptown by Advant has expanded its retail and leisure mix over time, emerging as a broader shopping and social hub.

Commenting on the surge, Mr. Sunil Sharma, Managing Director, Uptown by Advant, said, “We saw a clear jump in footfall during the New Year, but what mattered more was how people spent their time here. Evenings and weekends were especially busy, and many visitors came in to eat and stayed on to shop. That pattern gives us a good sense of what customers are looking for and where we need to invest next.”

Retailers across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and convenience segments reported higher walk-ins and steady sales during the period. Food and beverage outlets also saw strong demand, particularly during peak hours, underlining the role of dining-led visits.

Uptown by Advant continues to attract a diverse visitor base, supported by its high-street format and location. The New Year performance points to steady consumer interest in the months ahead.
