Bengaluru, Sept 01: The Embassy International Riding School (EIRS) successfully concluded the National Qualifiers for JNEC 2026 at its facility in Bengaluru. Held on August 27 and 28, the two-day competition was conducted under the aegis, technical guidelines, rules and regulations of the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI) and Karnataka Riding Association (KRA).
The National Qualifiers brought together eligible riders and horses competing across Children II, Children I, Junior and Young Rider categories in Dressage and Jumping. The competition provided riders with a competitive platform to demonstrate their skill, precision, discipline and horsemanship as part of the qualification process for JNEC 2026.
The two-day programme featured eight events across the two disciplines. The first day commenced with a veterinary check, followed by Children II and Children I Jumping, and Junior and Young Rider Dressage. The second day featured Junior and Young Rider Jumping, followed by Children II and Children I Dressage.
For several participating riders, the competition provided an opportunity to achieve the minimum qualification criteria required for participation in JNEC 2026. Riders who are yet to meet the qualification requirements will have another opportunity to compete at the next qualifying event scheduled for the last week of September. These qualifying events form a mandated part of the qualification process for JNEC 2026, with the Finals scheduled to take place in December 2026.
The successful conduct of the qualifying competition also highlighted Embassy International Riding School’s infrastructure and its role in providing riders with opportunities to compete at a national level in Bengaluru.

With the conclusion of the August qualifiers, riders now have another opportunity in September to secure the required qualification for JNEC 2026, ahead of the Finals scheduled in December.
