KFON Enables Seamless Bill Payments and Recharges via BBPS-Integrated UPI Platforms

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 10: Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) has reached another important milestone with its integration into the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) in collaboration with State Bank of India (SBI). The BBPS integration was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Santhosh Babu, IAS (Retd), Principal Secretary and Managing Director of KFON, along with senior officials from SBI and KFON.

The integration with BBPS allows customers to conveniently pay bills and recharge services through widely used applications such as Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, and CRED, marking a significant step in strengthening KFON’s digital service ecosystem. By leveraging the secure and nationally recognized BBPS platform, customers can now enjoy seamless, secure, and reliable bill payment and recharge facilities through trusted digital payment channels.

“Enabling KFON services on the Bharat Bill Payment System will make bill payments simpler and more convenient for our customers through widely used digital platforms, further strengthening KFON’s commitment to accessible and reliable digital services”, said Dr. Santosh Babu, IAS (Retd), Principal Secretary & Managing Director of KFON.

This initiative is aimed at simplifying the billing and recharge process while offering a smoother and more user-friendly experience, further reaffirming KFON’s commitment to digital inclusion and service excellence
