New Delhi, Feb 06 : Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, the leading specialty chemicals manufacturer and flagship company of the Shiva Group of Industries, has announced its participation at PlastIndia 2026, being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 5th–10th, 2026. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji, who applauded the efforts of the industry towards promoting sustainable manufacturing.

Presenting its expertise in the segment, Shivtek is showcasing an advanced portfolio of Chlorinated Polyethylene and green biodegradable plasticizers, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable chemistry and import substitution. Shivtek will be present at Booth D5, 1st floor, Hall H5F throughout the five-day mega exhibition, converging the biggest players of the Plastics Industry and allied sectors.
At PlastIndia, Shivtek is highlighting CPE, a critical specialty material used across wood plastic composites (WPC), construction, wire and cable, automotive, rubber, plastics, and magnetic materials. With India currently dependent on CPE imports, Shivtek is setting up India’s first domestic CPE manufacturing facility at Rajpura, Punjab. The upcoming plant is positioned to strengthen domestic supply chains, reduce import dependence, and support the growing demand for WPC as an eco-friendly alternative to natural wood.
Complementing this is Shivtek’s sustainability-led innovation, Shivachlor Green Pro, India’s first biodegradable and renewable-source chlorinated plasticizer. Derived from palm oil–based methyl esters, the product is phthalate-free, non-toxic, and readily biodegradable, offering a responsible alternative to conventional petroleum-based plasticizers across flexible PVC, wires and cables, flooring, synthetic leather, adhesives, and sealants.
Speaking on the company’s participation, Mr. Amitt Nenwani, Managing Director, Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, said,
“PlastIndia 2026 provides a timely platform to demonstrate how Indian specialty chemical manufacturers can lead the transition toward responsible and sustainable materials. We are also aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji, that our industry must prioritize sustainable manufacturing solutions to drive long-term growth. Through our CPE initiative, we are addressing a critical import gap while supporting eco-friendly applications like wood plastic composites. At the same time, our green plasticizers reflect our belief that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand, without compromise.”
Shivtek’s showcase aligns with the broader industry shift toward environmentally responsible materials, circular economy principles, and supply chain resilience. The company continues to invest in eco-centric manufacturing practices such as Zero Liquid Discharge systems, renewable energy integration, and closed-loop processing, ensuring that growth is anchored in long-term environmental stewardship.
With exports spanning over 70 countries and a growing focus on domestic capacity building, Shivtek’s presence at PlastIndia 2026 reinforces its vision of positioning India as a reliable global hub for specialty and sustainable chemical solutions.
