GlobalLogic launches the Digi Vidya Shala program to strengthen foundational learning for over 1,400 students

New Delhi, Jan 28 : GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital product engineering, today announced the launch of its Digi Vidya Shala program and the inauguration of a Digi Vidya Shala at Primary School Tugalpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative reinforces GlobalLogic’s commitment to promoting inclusive and technology-enabled education. The launch event was attended by senior officials along with GlobalLogic’s leadership team and other dignitaries, highlighting a collective focus on improving learning outcomes through digital and innovative education practices.

The program is being implemented in partnership with Pratham Infotech Foundation and Educational Initiatives as a technology support enabler, supporting GlobalLogic in advancing its digital education initiatives. Digi Vidya Shalas are designed to address learning gaps in under-resourced schools by providing personalized and adaptive learning support. The initiative is currently benefiting more than 1,440 students from Grades 4 to 8 and was rolled out in a phased manner across six schools three in Noida and three in Hyderabad reaching 730 and 714 students respectively in the two cities.

“Under the GlobalLogic CSR initiative, the Mindspark EdTech PAL programme has been operational in our government schools for the past year. The programme enables computer-based learning in Hindi, English and Mathematics and provides personalised remedial support to students. The Personalized Adaptive Learning platform is at the heart of the initiative, enabling students to be trained according to their learning levels. By using an adaptive and personalized learning software platform called Ei Mindspark in the classrooms, Digi-Vidya Shala not only enables students to increase engagement but also enables teachers to meet learning demands targeted with a dedicated approach. The initiative is based on the domains of native language, English, and Mathematics, while directly advancing the goals of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy in alignment with the NEP 2020.
